The rhyme goes “Four and twenty black birds baked in a pie” The chef missed one. that’s the joke. At least I thought it was.

Hey that’s what I thought it was too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Twenty-four blackbirds seemed weirdly specific to me, like, who’s going to know if you changed the recipe a little? It’d be a lot easier to catch a dozen or so blackbirds and then flush it out with a crow or two as filler. Am I right?

You were at my creative writing class yesterday, but I was unfortunately stuck at home with a brutal migraine. I talked to a classmate later and she said it was quite a fun class. I wish I hadn’t missed it :S

That said, I’ve been going through your archives and I’m really enjoying the chickens. The observations and references are so clever, and the art style is awesome. I’m glad you update so frequently, because I can tell that I’ll be sticking with this comic ๐Ÿ˜€

    Happy Pi Day ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s still a lot of blackbird to cram into a pie, I’d cut him a brake on this one.
