Actually, the Japanese do have deep fried vegetable as a standard dish. It’s known as Tempura:

I just want to say how simple (yet profound) this comic is and how I would love to use it as a learning tool for people who are dating. (For example: If the guy is a known “player” then why would you want to date him if you want a monogamous relationship?)
Go for people who have the same values as you do… don’t try and change people or date them because you see their “potential…” I LOVE THIS!
There’s a restaurant near here that makes a nacho plate that I’ve always referred to as a “fried salad.”
