My youngest is enamored with the Unicorn and Pegasus. She recently merged the two to form a Pegaun (Peg-ah-yune), or is that a Unipeg?
but hey, unicorns are magical.
there’s nothng wrong with
genetically engineered magic.
(and i had to google narwhal)
I am afraid it can’t be done. Have you heard that song by Loverboy? Horse and narwhal DNA just won’t splice…
haha, that totally made my day better…although wouldn’t it save time if it was the narwhal that was magical and revered?
Narwhals are unfortunately getting to be about as common as unicorns…good thing the chicken scientists are on the case!
Technically, narwhals ARE unicorns. It’s even in their name (“mono-ceros” = Greek for “one-horn”).
(This they have in common with the probable origin of the unicorn myths: “Rhinoceros unicornis” (Greek “nosehorn” + Latin “onehorn”))
