i think every office already does have a lobotomized gorilla – i can name the one around here. she may even know more words than Koko. but i am not sure who does more actual work.

A keen eyed manager like that can always spot true potential! Immediate promotion to the server farm for that hard worker!

How often does he have a banana break?

i think that even PROD3000 does not go near Peterson’s desk, that he might find his nail ended stick stuck in a place the sun does not shine

  8. SciBoy says:

Funny, but lobotomization does not do what you think it does. The end result is someone who is docile and suggestible. The opposite of an enraged gorilla I would think. ๐Ÿ™‚

Let’s just say it’s a lobotomy gone terribly wrong!

    • Doug says:

Come to think of it, lobotomies were normally done through the eye socket and not by cutting open the skull. Hmmm I guess I was going for the cartoonish mad scientist version of a lobotomy!

      • SciBoy says:

Actually, I think there are more than one way of performing a lobotomy. The kind where you use a oribtoclast (thank you Wikipedia) is when you go in through the eye-socket. But you can also open the head and remove the frontal lobe instead of just separating it. So you would be correct. Maybe they removed the wrong lobe in your gorilla? ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for an excellent cartoon. One of the most consistently funny on the internet.

  9. Dave says:

Not a distant cousin of Dr. Schlermie Beckerman then…?

  10. Wildbird says:

The trouble comes when he wants a raise

  11. Pry says:

Is it bad that, when I read “lobotomized gorilla”, I didn’t understand it as a metaphor, but imagined a literally lobotomized gorilla? And no, it is no consolation that I was right about the punchline.
