A bit early for Groundhog Day, but right on time for the 20th Anniversary of Savage Chickens! Twenty years ago today, I posted my first scruffy cartoon on the internet, and then my life got so much better! I’ll write more about this momentous occasion, but for now I’ll just say thank you all for being such wonderful readers. Woohoo! Chickens!

I added Savage Chickens to my RSS feed some time back in 2004 or 2005 along with a lot of other cartoon sites. All the others eventually fell by the way, but yours kept going and kept providing me with something to chuckle over. On dark, wet winter mornings when I had to get up at 5:30am to commute into London, I would always check the weather forecast and then your site before going out to walk to the station. Thank you!
