I <3 all of them! ๐Ÿ˜€ Does that count? Oh and first post! Yes, I am waiting for the latest comic strip before I go to bed! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Andy S says:

I love so many, it’s hard to choose favorites. But, if I was pressed … the “Catnip Mouse” trilogy was goddamn awsome. But I also loved the “Better Watch Out” one. Santa with a sniper rifle. I knew you couldn’t trust that fat old man!

  3. Stefan says:

Mine would be https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/11/paying-attention.html, I guess, it’s the one that I remember best at least :).

I have the book already, although it’s in Kindle format, so the “cut this part out” pages are not as fun :).

  4. Jen says:

The Bond Villans one. I cracked up when I read “He loves people” and an evil looking man with a sweet dog.

Thank you for all the wonderful cartoons Doug!

  5. Russell Craig says:

They were all great but I think the two best were probably the uncomfortable silence bear and how to cure your aracniphobia that one had me laughing for weeks

  6. BearSprite says:

It took me a while to find it again, but “How To Cure Your Arachnophobia” is hands down my favourite. I had a friend who went through most of those steps, so I wasn’t sure where the joke was going to come from for about half the comic. Another great one was “How to Draw a Spider”, which sums up any How-To art instructions for me, who has had the same sloppy handwriting since age 3, and cannot draw a straight line with a ruler.

    https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/06/starfish.html

  69. Jim says:

Hands down it was “I Love You More”! My wife and I always do a routine similar to that. I get a little (maybe a lot) geeky about it until she gives up. I’ve even pulled a similar trick to the one in your version, which is why I had to post it to my wife’s FB so she can share in the laugh. Thanks for that one, my fave of ’11.

  70. S. Brown says:

My favorite Savage Chicken’s comic is the corporate survivalist #3, I lol ever time I read it. Happy 7 years ๐Ÿ™‚

  71. Florent says:

I think catnip mouse is really making sense and got a point there. I’d also like to apply the arachnophobia stuff to someone I know.

But I choose this one about marketing executives cause I did forward it to some marketing executive guys pictured in it (the one around the dots):

  72. Mihael says:

It’s got to be the Corporate Survivalist series – https://www.savagechickens.com/tag/survivalist. I think that’s the best series you’ve done yet (except zombies). One that stands out is https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/07/corporate-survivalist-2.html

Love your cartoons! Cheers from Croatia!

  73. Jude says:

This is my favorite cartoon, the one I instantly shared with my friend: https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/06/five-years.html We have both been so happy about getting jobs, only to discover soon thereafter that we’d arrived in job hell. I also read it shortly after I bombed that question in an interview. When I bought your book, I gave it to him because I gave up on working, but he’s still employed. That’s one reason I’d like to win a copy for myself.

  74. Jeremy S says:

I love anything with the Prod3000. I swear that I used to work for him. My favorite of the year was the “Job Well Done” from April 16th. This is one of my favorite comics and I look forward to each one.
    Thanks, Doug!

  75. Asha says:

Congratulations! I love “A short history of time travel” and “Life of Pie”, among many others! Thanks for the wonderful cartoons. ๐Ÿ™‚

My favorite was Narcissist Comics from April 28th! I actually did print it, paste a headshot photo on there, and tack it to my wall! ๐Ÿ˜€

  77. Toni says:

My fave is the one with Prod3000 titled “Thank You” from 12/2/11. That cartoon pretty much summed up how my coworkers and I were feeling. (We have since gotten a new boss.)

  78. Katerina says:

Wait, let me check the folder with my favorites.. Man.. that’s like choosing from a box a chocolates when you’re a chocoholic.. Ok, let it be connect the dots without numbers – fits my current mindset..
As a person who recently went through all the 450+ pages of cartoons (seeing the progress backwards was fun), I’ll say “please, don’t stop!”. As a person who’s now experiencing a crappy headache, I’ll wish you to never have a migraine again! As someone who still believes she can keep her artistic herself alive while pursuing a dream-career in management, I’ll ask you to, please, keep giving me hope!
    Happy 7th year!

  79. Adam says:

All my faves of the past year were completely trumped by the Welsh scrabble chickens from 1/27/12!! Ardderchog iawn!!

  80. MmmYarn says:

Can’t possibly narrow it down to a single favorite! I’ll explain two of my choices.
    1) Ice Cream Man, because that threatening-looking ice cream man makes me nearly giggle out loud every time I see it. I hung it up at work (the other one there is I.T. Department, 1200 A.D. because I work in the I.T. department and rebooting fixes lots of things). I’d print more but I think I’d be accused of eating up an entire yellow toner cartridge.
    2) Common Road Signs, because when I learned to drive I always thought of snakes in the road when I saw that sign and because at least since the end of November I hear “Hammertime!” whenever I see a stop sign.
    Keep the Savage Chickens coming!

  81. Sheepster says:

I have to go with the “I love you more” cartoon as a favorite. Although it was a tough choice as I love them all!!

    https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/11/i-love-you-more.html

  82. Dwight says:

    Doug, thanks for 7 years.

Hard to chose just one- so many good laughs-got this site bookmarked and read it every single day.

    https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/09/how-to-watch-reality-tv.html

  83. Lesley says:

My favourite is “Conclusive” ๐Ÿ˜€ !!!
There is nothing more to say.

  84. Joseph says:

For probably close to a year now a co-worker sends me these or at least shares them with me over my shoulder on his computer. They tickle my fancy.

Right away “King Kong” is first in my mind, freaking love that one.
and then looking at all the different top 10s….
on Doug’s list I remember “Cat Explorer”, the cat ones are great, and then 2 new ones never saw but got a big kick out of are “Godzilla Attacks” and “Off the Hook”.

Classic stuff man, if i don’t win a book i plan on buying one.

  85. Sara Clรกudio says:

  86. Teri Benson says:

One of all my favorites is Coporal Survivalist ………I work there!! LOL!

  87. Matt says:

Spot the 8 differences was my favorite.

  88. SK says:

My favourite is https://www.savagechickens.com/2012/01/a-challenge.html, mostly because I have a friend who is obsessed with Scrabble and who married a Welshman who is not interested in Scrabble. It fit them so well!

  89. Sugar Low says:

you da best doug! what else can i say…. congrats!

  90. Kathleen says:

By far my favorite was the “Spot the Difference” spider comic. I always love plays those games, and I loved your humor!

  92. Chloe says:

my favorite was How To Cure Your Arachnophobia, but anything with chickens or Timmy Tofu are really good.

  93. Jennay says:

Wow! Seven years already! Congratulations, Doug ๐Ÿ™‚ I look forward to every single Chicken cartoon and particularly get a kick out of the more twisted ones.

Quite a few from the last year stand out to me, especially the Christmas and Cat Adventures cartoons but The Ice Cream Man made me nearly choke on my coffee. Good job!

    https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/08/ice-cream-man.html

  94. pera says:

  97. Congratulations and thank you for making my 2011 365 x funnier! Well, it was difficult to choose one favorite cartoon, so I chose one of the Shakespeare series: Double Feature! ๐Ÿ™‚

  99. Suzanne says:

I enjoy all the cartoons and I am an avid subscriber. I share them with my friends! Please keep drawing them they make my day!

  100. Hope says:

I liked Narcissitron, the transformer who turns into himself.

  101. scfan42 says:

It took me a while to choose, but i finally narrowed it down. My favorite comic is “Resolutions”, posted on January 2. Keep ’em coming!

  102. Matthew says:

I loved Narcissitron! He transforms into himself-Awesome!

  103. Jen I says:

Just before Christmas I printed out “Better Watch Out” and stuck it on the fridge. My 6 yo daughter read it and said with all sincerity, “Santa wouldn’t REALLY do that would he?” That’s made it my favourite now. My kids also like Savage Chickens, but sometimes they don’t get the jokes because they don’t understand Canadian things like ice hockey. This week I’ve had to promise to go hire “Groundhog Day” because they didn’t know what a Groundhog is. Your cartoon is educating us so much about Northern hemisphere culture. I hope you’ll post the book to Australia if we win!

  104. herrkaa says:

The ultimate cat tree took the prize last year.

  105. Ryan says:

  109. Ana Maria Costa says:

    Congratulations!!

My favorites were: Adorable Hedgehog and Adorable Hedgehog: round two

  110. sam says:

My favorite? Well Chewbacca rates high but the Welsh Scrabble Game was the best!!! Ever try to understand Welsh? It’s like driving their skinny, winding unmarked roads – dangerous!

Thanks for 7 years of chuckles and laughs!

  111. Nora Dudley says:

My favorite chicken cartoons are by far the Prod3000 cartoons. Since I work in an office I can often relate to the situations, which might seem unfortunate but the cartoons give me something to laugh at. One of my favorites from this past year was Job Well Done from Prod3000.

  112. Nora Dudley says:

Ooops… I forgot to include the website to the Job Well Done cartoon.

    https://www.savagechickens.com/category/cartoons/prod3000/page/2

  118. I realize I’m going to sound like a broken record, but… I love them all, but the one that’s standing out in my mind right now is the ultimate cat tree.

  119. Craig Curtis says:

My theory is that the relativity of this cartoon “https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/11/its-academic.html” makes it my favorite!

It really is hard to pick the best one and I have to share most of them… I am slowly converting my coworkers! Thanks for working so hard Doug and I enjoy your comics and your book!

  120. kingklash says:

I just started reading these regularly about four months ago, so counting the catching up, it’s been all of them for this year.

The Ultimate Cat Tree, by far. I’m still constructing a version for my cats.

  122. wanda says:

My favorite, or favourite since I’m back north of the border, is Contempt from Jan 26th. I have been considering getting it on a cup. It so perfectly sums up my experience at a recent job, me being the mouse. It gives me perspective and a giggle every time I look at it.

It definitively has to be the “Spot the difference”!!! It got me at least 10 laughs when I showed my family and friends. Thanks Doug!!! <3 your comics!!!

  126. Tuney says:

I love them all, but I have to admit the cat tree hits closest to home. If only!

  127. laanba says:

I’ve looked through a lot of the past ones, but I must say that Catnip Mouse is still a winner with me. It makes me laugh every time I see the final panel.

    https://www.savagechickens.com/2012/01/catnip-mouse.html

  128. trey says:

    Ohh, tough!
I really like “Listen to your Heart”
but my favorite of all time is the “Disenchanted Forest”!

  129. Glenn says:

ChickenPorcupine always works for me – closely followed by ChickenCatBug. (In 2012, watch out for ChickenCatnipMouse!)

  130. cynric says:

I liked the wonderfully twisted yet blatant icecreamman.
    https://www.savagechickens.com/2011/08/ice-cream-man.html
