I started Savage Chickens eight years ago today! Here’s my annual class photo, showing all of the characters that appeared in more than one cartoon in the past year. See if you can identify them all!
Year #8 was an exciting one for me on the chicken front, mostly because of this and this and especially this. I’m still having a blast drawing cartoons and I want to thank you all for your continued support and encouragement!

My absolute favourite cartoon is ‘A Challenge’ aka Welsh Scrabble, although LaForge’s alternative visors comes a close second.

Being such a tech nerd as I am, I think “The three rules of manager robotics” is my personal favourite. Not only reflects the true spirit of management, but is also a great tribute to Isaac Asimov.

Thanks for making my mornings as “receptionist” bearable.My favorite is “how to train your cat” only because my Maine Coons give me that extact same “are you kidding me, hu-man?” look whenever i chase them off the counter.

While all the cats have made me laugh, I’m a dog person, so I’d pick “Hours of Fun”. Or “A Popular Time”. Or “Rover”…oh, it’s just too hard to pick one!

I regularly forward and share my favorite Chicken comics and I have the Technical Writer conversation comic posted on my refrigerator in case I need to remember how to get out of a conversation. 😉
